New Wheel Models + Skins - By Eskwaad

Post by DJ99X »

Here's a new set of wheel models Eskwaad made, and skins he made to suit it. I only saf'ed it, so no credit to me. They use different UV mapping to the stock wheels, so here are some installation instructions-

1) Place the .saf file in your Personal Folder, or any subfolder
2) Remove any old wheel models laying around.
3) If you are using Gordy's skins, remove rimpackv2.saf and stockrim.saf.

Now, with demos, if you are using Eskwaads models, and others a using stock rims, but with a certain skin, their wheels will just appear as stock rims for Eskwaads model.

Here they are-

Thx again DJ.

Thx Mace, you're right. My intention was just to keep it lowpoly and add details with the texture.

Joe- Check your Program Files MXS folder, and look for "front_wheel.jm" and "rear_wheel.jm" and delete them...they're from the older models.
I had that same problem, and once I deleted those 2 files, it worked fine for me.

I had the same problem too. I deleted front_wheel.jm and rear_wheel.jm but it didn't work. Then I deleted pretty much every thing in my folder (aall the MVA models and some stuff) to get those rims to work but it neither worked... And when I deleted the "demostuff.saf", it worked...

Those rims are awesome, MVA models look soooo real with it, thanks a lot dude.

PS: Could you release the layouts to custom them?
