MX Simulator

Following the success of last year, were going at it again folks. Each week I will allow someone to send me a demo of a solid single lap around the track of that week, The only rule is that your lap needs to look solid and not like a sketch fest. If you feel you can put some style into it then knock yourself out. Be sure to include your gear/bike if you think i may not have it or even post it in here depending if we create a thread for SX gear.

As far as i know were going to shoot for the same style as last year, so after the track is released later that night when the majority of people are practicing ill notify everyone in chat were going to record practice for still shots/extras (basically just normal practice, just trying to get cool shots with groups of riders) then add in whoever gets the helmet cam for that race once its submitted.

Can i call A1?

Maybe you should designate a time for people to be on (like 7:00 pm that night or whatever), so you can get more people in the shots.

It would be cool if you could mix in some other shots beside just the 1st person view. (shot of whip over triple or cool rhythm section).

Just to showcase the physics a bit.

I think it would be sick if you did it in the middle of a race, so there were others in the video. I think it would look sweet if the guy riding was battling or whatever, as long as they are still smooth of course. maybe set it up so some guys are just tooling around and others are running good laps, like the helmet cam shot was taken during practice...you know?

Here is a basically what we are shooting for if new people never saw any of them. More then likely we can say 2 hours after the track is released we can designate a "session" (if its approved)


Also just liked to thank everyone over this last year for creating some awesome models/skins and jlv for the great new improvements. Btw i think it might be a smart idea for a Sx2011 Gear thread and to start releasing what you'll run.

If your doing helmet cams then change your helmet cam settings in game from stock to something different. I hate the stock helmet cam settings because you can't see diddly poo.

Just make sure you can see a bit of the bike

And make sure people are running one of the newer bikes. The old ones look a bit dodgy in 1st person.

People watch the vids for the tracks not the game, get rid of the 3d person shit no one wants to see it, no music, just the bike sound sand the lap of helmet cam.
