I use 2 radeon 5770's, the xfx one I have is a bit 'overclocked' but I dont think its much different from the stock one, however with 2 of these, when I run online with 15+ people it starts to lagg on full graphics, up to about 10 people I usually run highest graphics + 4x AF and 4x AA, all runs smooth then, but whenever more then like 12 people come in it seems to take a big chunk out of my framerate, I haven't checked on the 5830 but I suppose it's the newer series so probably better (I'm not sure), hope this helped.

Sorry for the double, but after posting I thought I'd google a bit, here's a review that will give you some info, seems like a real nice card.

FYI, mxs does not support crossfire and SLI.... so whether you run 1 graphics card or 2, the performance will be the same.Jester#132 wrote:I use 2 radeon 5770's, the xfx one I have is a bit 'overclocked' but I dont think its much different from the stock one, however with 2 of these, when I run online with 15+ people it starts to lagg on full graphics, up to about 10 people I usually run highest graphics + 4x AF and 4x AA, all runs smooth then, but whenever more then like 12 people come in it seems to take a big chunk out of my framerate, I haven't checked on the 5830 but I suppose it's the newer series so probably better (I'm not sure), hope this helped.

Im using a XFX 5850 atm and i can run with 15 people att maxxed out graphics and 16x AF and 8x AA and all the rest setups on optimal quality. But lagg while playing is not all about the graphic card remember that.
