1st Person view best setting

Post by toonys66 »

Hello,
after 2 years of playing this game in 3rd person and after listening comments of people around, i finally try to play in 1st person and i must admit that even if i struggle a lot at the beginning, it s becoming allright now and the feeling are great!! at first i was having headache but i don t know why, now it s ok!
anyway i made this topic (sorry for another topic but i did not know where to put it), to ask people who play in 1st person to write here their best setting to play with this view (i struggle to find a good one):
- Field of view
- Height
- Angle

I've been using 1st person since the beginning...
I know that the default fov is 110, then i use,
Height: 0.06
Angle: 1.00

thanks, keep them going if other people want to try some of that you think feel the best and the most realistic! thanks
other info, i ride usually clean... but since i ride 1st person online, as you cannot see where you go, i often find myself in a dirty situation, for example if i change line (accidently of course) without knowing someone coming by side... thanks for sharing your experience and advice on this...

I took Servatis' setting and adjusted the angle. This is very close to how it looks IRL. The horizon is at about the same level, and I can see about the same amount of front fender. Seeing just the tip is enough to get the job done, just like my fat friend said.

Since I first learned on 3rd person view it throws me off to see too much of the fender and handlebars, with the reverse steering. And a height of 1 is by no means too tall. I am a shorter rider IRL and the setting of 1 is still probably a little lower than my real field of vision when riding.

I use one I feel is closet to the helmet as possible. I use such a high FOV so I can see people around me.
FOV - 125
Height - 0.44
Angle - 20.0
