MXS Bike Sounds Application ?

Hi all, What do you think about a bike sounds application, like the mxs bike setup app from Servatis ?

So the app will change bike sound for each bikes you want,import,export,ect for poeple bored by notepad .

I already did an app to Nfs Shift to change power curves, and i wonder if you could want this kind of app .

It wont. It will make it easier to edit bike sounds/create your own. It will not make them sound any different though.

But...doesn't editing/creating a sound make it sound different...

hey, I thought about adding something like this in my new application.
but mainly the fact that I don't know how it all works. for example the .saf files like the one that commes with the 2010 yamaha pack.
and the fact that i don't have much time to try to figure it out either. there are lots of other things to be done.

just curious about how you would go about doing this.

Another problem, jlv is planning to go to work on the sounds after the sx season. that doesn't mean anything will actually change, but it could. and if it does the entire sound system could also change.

like i said, i'm just curious. if I had more time i would have tried adding this to my own app.


@FMXIAN changing the sound files for a bike or group of bikes will make the bikes sound different. but this app will not enable you to make the sounds better than you would be able to with just notepad. it would just make it easier to manage and edit the files.

for the saf problem: maybe a choice betwen put a song to a bike from a saf and from a png could be good. If you choose png, just pick up the file in a browser, if you select saf, pick up the saf in the browser and select the skin in the saf you want.

Just some operations to cut and put the first line where are the skins into the app.

But yeah , if jlv will change sounds, i'll wait, or update the app after... dunno...

Sure adding this pipe part to your app would be good too...

What would be very cool, is if you could coordinate with jlv, get his base sound files, and then have the app play back the bike sound as you're tweaking it. Then export when finished.
