This may have already been posted, but what is the proper way to seat bounce? Do I just lean back on the face of the jump or should I also hit the sit button. I can't tell what works the best.

With my set up it works better to lean back while standing.

If you're standing it isn't a seat bounce.. >_>

Neutral position sitting down, and then when you hit the transition, lean back quick.

I know what a seat bounce is. I assumed he was asking because he wants more height/distance off jumps. With my set up I seem to be able to go higher/further while standing.

You can also seat bounce hard landings be a little less likely to crash. It's one of those MXS techniques that I wouldn't suggest doing IRL. Kinda like speed-shifting off the lip of a big triple or rhythm section for a little extra lift.

it really depends on how you have your suspension set up.

if you have a low rebound damping and high a spring rate. then it's quite easy to get some extra lift.
it works really well in rhythm sections. where you land one jump then sit down at the bottom getting the suspension to compress the maximum amount and lean back as you leave the next jump while still sitting down.

with regular triples or quads standing up is the best option. since it gives you much more control than trying to seat bounce.
