Re: SAF Creator
I guess i'm just an idiot.... ....but i still cant get this thing to work..... I'm trying to SAF my Yamaha Of Troy skin......
What necessary files are required in the folder? Just the PNG? Or are there other files i need to include?
Do i have to name it something specific?

Re: SAF Creator
just create folder with name like yamaha of troy and than put in it that .png file ,start saf creator and choose that folder than choose place where you want to save it and press create
Re: SAF Creator
i used the saf creator and i have my "yamaha of troy white.saf", then i put that in the personal folder.
When i go to the yz250f(2007) bike graphics catagory its not there........the only option is default........shouldnt the yamaha of troy white be there?

Re: SAF Creator
Heres what works for me.
1. create a folder called Yamaha Of Troy.
2. In that folder place your yz250f-yamaha of troy white.png
3. Use the saf creator, and select the YOT folder.
4. Rename it whatever you want and place it in your personal folder.
If you dont know what to name it, open up DJ's SAF(im guessing thats which yz250f your using) using notepadd++ and look at what the .png's are called. Use a similar name for your YOT skins.

Re: SAF Creator

Thanks/MWR

Re: SAF Creator
That would try to load the team mwr bike model, so no.
It would be yz250f-TeamMWR_Ridername.PNG
A dash designates a change in field, there's three possible fields. Bike type-bike model-skin name
And underscore will come out as a space in the game. You can't have spaces in filenames, so you use an underscore instead.

Re: SAF Creator
Ok, i'm having a big problem with this saf thing. I hope someone can help.
I'm creating a Troy Lee SE gear, and i want to test it out in the game. However, when i create the saf file, based on DDMXV2 model, and put it into the MX Sim folder, it won't show up in the game. Which is really weird, since the process worked fine for me when i created various bike skins and helmet skins.
I've followed every single step mentioned in this thread, and it didn't work. The gear won't show in the bike setup tab. Can someone give me a hand?
(this is the gear i'm working on)

Re: SAF Creator
1. save the gear as rider_body-ddmxV2-TroyLee_White.png
2. Make a folder called TroyLeeDesigns and put said .png in this folder.
3. Open the .saf creator; Where is says choose folder, browse and select TroyLeeDesigns
4. In save as, call it TroyLeeDesigns.saf
5. Put this .saf in you personal folder.
I hope these steps solve your problem, gear is looking good.
