Post by mxrewind665 »

Here is my opinion.

I have never, NEVER EVER, had a controller. I've always preferred keyboard in all games, even in like Dirt 3 or Race Driver: Grid. I started doing quite good in Next Friday MX track while ago. I started MX Sim under a month ago. I started with keyboard. I felt myself pretty comfortable with keyboard and 25 stability even when I had played for just a bit over 2 weeks. Then I thought about the controller. I've never had one. But I do have had an old Xbox. But it was years ago. Then I looked at my money state. Went to buy a Razer Onza controller (52 euros).

After I assigned buttons I tried it. I was like 90% lost. Didn't feel good at all. But I KNEW I would be faster with it. I could feel it. I trained for around 4 hours (about), only after that time I was faster than I was with keyboard. I was a lot faster. And it felt so so so much better! On keyboard when you're turning, you can turn 100% or not at all. Or tap the turning button. On controller, you can do smooooth turns with the analog sticks. Same thing on gas and front brake/brakes.
Wheelies are a lot easier :D but that's not the case.

Go for controller ALL the way.

Yeah I accually have a gigaware controller. But the left analog stick don't work. So I set it up close to reflex.
