I just used this and it worked perfectly. It took me 2 attempts to get it right however because you have to do some things differently to the way he does it in than tutorial which I didnt realise at first.

hey guys!

i have found my track in google sketchup! Can i now save this as a png and add in the game/ tack folder and have the heigt map terrain ?

hey the first video i try to toggle terrain and it stays flat you have any ideas as to why or is it because theres not data there to be able to give me terrain

here is the location on google maps or earth in canada 43.551721, -79.880992 you should see the track... i tried to toggle tarrain in sketch up and it just stays flat maby the other program google earth i tried and it didnt have a place to download the data so idk wtf im doing now

in the last video i cant get the step at 6:05 :?
i use 3Ds max 2012 and cant find the "map parameters" :| can anybody help me? thanks!!

I cant watch the videos obviously but I think you are trying to UVW map. You have to add a UVW modifier then select planar then select x or y and fit.

Thanks for sharing what those differences were with the rest of the class... :roll:
