Hmmmm I like the looks of the MX Sim editor for SX tracks - that gradiant thing looks good.

So what size (resolution) PS file do you utilize in MX Sim? Or does it matter? Does it take a PNG/TGA or something else? I assume grayscale disp map??

you can use any resolution disp map in mx sim, as long as it is to the power of 2 plus 1 e.g. 513x513
the stock one however is 1025x1025.
the disp map is a png

yes instead of design/inflate you choose blank... but to make it not look like the moutain ranges just make the cliffs and terraces and hight streght and rolling stuff down

You make your jumps wierd.

I do one at the bottom, then one half way to the lip (give or take, depends on size), have that curved, then I'll have another one for the lip, and it's a straight line going from 2-3.

Most jumps I can make, I can hit them in 1st or 5th, and never have problems with flipping.
