I didn't want to start a new thread so i'll post it here. I decided to try messing with my sx track in gimp for the first time instead of the ingame editor. I accidently cropped some of the track off and saved it. Then I put it back to the old terrain.png that I used before. Now when I play the track in-game it's fine except that it has white/black lines going across the whole track(see picture). So how do I fix this?

Wow, Ive never seen that happen before. Are the lines straight, or do the bend at all?

Straight. But now its just not my track. I just played some other tracks and found out now that every track has lines like that on it. =[

Somethings gone corrupt then. I'd try deleting your config file (in the personal folder). That seems to fix things that happen randomly like that.

where/how do you access the in-game editor?

go to the your Program files folder, and right click on mx.exe and select properties. in the target section, add "--editor" without the quotes of course. Click OK, load the game up, select your blank track if you added one, and press the TAB button on ur keyboard till it comes up.

BUT I have another question! Im trying to make a track thats basically on a hill, and im trying to figure out which is the best way to add hills exactly like I want them. Ive been messing around with L3DT and its pretty hard, but Im sure I could make somethin real accurate if i spent the time. But it is hard! Does anyone use this to make hills? Like whats everyone process for doing so? I took a screengrab of the track on googlemaps, and used the pen tool to create my layout. But now the problem is that I dont really know how to add hills...if osmoene can help id appreciate it!
