Can you post what you have in the statues file for it? Also, depending on where the center is for the object, it might be under the terrain.

oh okay heres what it says,

Code: Select all

[2050.000000 0.000000 50.000000] 0.000000 @ropefence.jm @ropefence.png null
This is the line, (I have all the lines for the stock object in the file and at least 1 line emty after the last which is the invisible object.

You have to put your track folder name in the reference. Right now it's looking for the files in your personal folder.

Code: Select all

[2050.000000 0.000000 50.000000] 0.000000 @yourtrackfolder\ropefence.jm @yourtrackfolder\ropefence.png null

Wait, you are just putting that in the statues file? Gotta check... :D it's been awhile for me but I don't think you need to have .png after norm. Just save it as a LNG obviously but it does not need to be in the text file... Try it I am probably wrong.

Ok, i think it was working just hard top notice..

Can anyone explain to me the -repeat on some texturing and how it works? like for moving water?

-repeat means that your UV layout, if outside the bounds of the UV coordinates, repeats. i.e. if you make your texture.png tile then you can make your UV infinitely big and it will tile the texture forever. I can post an image to make it clearer if necessary.

The only way I know how is to get ahold of the .blend or .obj and scale it in the 3d application of your choice and re-export it out for MXS.
