What do you guys use as a basis for the opacity of the jumps and berms? What is a good starting point?

It really depends on the vertical scale of the track. I'm making my enduro track in photoshop, it scales from 0 to 250 ft, and the berms were usually an opacity of 5-8%. But if it was something like an SX track, it could be something between 50-75%. Its really a matter of testing

I would make your track at whatever opacity you want for berms and jumps. When you start to test it in the game is where I would start messing with the track scale and whatnot.
