Kording wrote:Did you ever read the thread ? the answer is two posts above. You have to name it like: crf250-2012 pc-skinname. If you want to have a 450 you name it crf450-2012 PC-skinname.
haha nice

Hi, having some trouble here.

2013 bikes out, trying to rename some ktm 250sxf skins (ddmx488 /ekswaad /giopanda / yahama7 /wilsonatvhvpunk62 /REDIDY-171 / kx12 / DJ/Goardy skin) to work on the 2013 ktm 250sxf

Originally based on the rmz i think, I downloaded notepad++ to edit the jms, and i tried changing the "rmz250" bit at the start of the skin name.

Original skin names were as such: rmz250_frame-ktm250sxf. etc

Tried: 250sxf-2013 at the start

250sxf at the start

ktm250sxf-2013

ktm250sxf

Doesn't work with any of these at the start, what the hell am I doing wrong?

There's a 125 sx skin in there as well for a RM125, changing the rm125 to 125sx didn't work either.

OK actually now it works as ktm250sxf-2013_blahdeblah.whatevers

I just don't have the option to select it in the menu, does doing this make it the default skin?

Sorry for the stupid arsed questions, just trying to understand this.

.jm files are the files that make the model, basically the object files

you don't need to make them if you are skinning something that is already ingame. You just need to name your skin right, so it uses the right model.
Tell/show us what you are working on and we can help you to name it
