HoloGraphic Logos
i was wondering how i would make holographic logos for my fender arches?
Anything i could look up? or if someone knew could you tell me how to make them?

Re: HoloGraphic Logos
I've attempted them before but never got the look i was after. It's pretty tricky but i had the logo background white with a black stroke and put a feint rainbow gradient over it and in the spec too.

Re: HoloGraphic Logos
do i also put it into the norm?
Re: HoloGraphic Logos
nah, the norm just makes the high detailed bumps and stuff.

Throw a light glitter in there if you want. I didtaylerbelle wrote:do i also put it into the norm?
Hi
Re: HoloGraphic Logos
I wonder if it would be more noticeable if you didn't use the same texture (i.e. rainbow) on the diffuse and spec.

Re: HoloGraphic Logos
This was done on a team bike but it was done on the diffuse, i have tried doing it on the specular but it never shows up so your best bet is playing around with it on the diffuse on a white logo or something.

It's not too hard to do, but this is an example off of 6D's SX skins of what you need to do to get it to work.
Diffuse: it is set to a low opacity so it is only just noticable over the top of a white logo.
Spec: I beleive this was set to like 3 or 4 percent opacity, which makes it barely noticable however in game it looks really nice when in the light.
