Making Bike Renders in Blender

Post by yzmxer608 »

Watch Here (Use Fullscreen)

Some people asked me how I do my renders, I made a video tutorial on how I do them. Hopefully everyone can understand me, I'm not the best speaker. At the end where I talk about the 3 settings in the World tab, the indirect lighting only works if you have the Gather set to Approximate (so it did nothing the the render I showed).

Did you make the normal maps or did they come with the model you're using?

They came with the model, I'm doing a render with DJ's YZF. It also has the rider model and Shoei model, and all the maps are inverted in the render.

Have you tried checking the "Negative" box next to the blend mode for the texture?

The texture part in blender (where you setup the settings for the normal map).

Go to "Map to" in the material setup and see if the Nor text is colored yellow. If so, click it twice and it should be good to go...I think.
