Would it be possible to auto-remove the img tags from quotes? Maybe do the same with the youtube tags too.

It was implemented at one stage. I think it may have been removed in the forum upgrade

Like DJ said, I did add that for a while but didn't merge it in when I upgraded to the new version. I'd really like it if phpBB added a real extension system instead of using diff/patch like they do now. If they just added a few hooks they could make 90% of the mods not require any merging after an upgrade.
