The little mark after the decimal point right? I was looking for the red cell markers, but that's the next cell bleeding through when the mipmap is downsampled. That's why it only shows on smaller text. I guess I should have left more space around the cells.

I mean the red, you can see them above the 9 and 0.

I see it now. I had my monitor set too dark to see it.

It looks like I forgot to refilter the lower mip levels after I removed the cell markers. This will be fixed in the next update.

Why on earth would we need/want a new physics engine? Besides, they are pretty much the same as ODE, which JLV uses

The current physics engine can do ragdoll, it just needs to be written. Hopefully you can imagine how time consuming that will be. The rider has to come unattached from the bike, the rider's limbs have to go limp and flop around basically, and the rider has to interact with objects he hits while falling(tree, bale, ground, ect) Then jlv has to figure out what he wants to do with the rider after that. Animate the rider getting up and walking/running back to his bike? Allow us to control the rider's walking/running motion to get back to the bike? There is a lot of animation that needs to take place if the rider is to be shown picking up his bike and getting back on it.

I have no doubt that jlv can do it, it's just a factor of when he wants to do it.

I would just have the rider zap back to the bike after a crash........after say, 5-10 seconds.

Having to run back to your bike and pick it up would be dumb,

and would take forever to code i would imagine.

I agree, if people could control the rider going back to the bike, then people would just run around the track getting hit by other riders, or trying to fight each other or something. That wouldn't be fun, zapping to the bike is the simplest and most effective way it seems.

I think the guy ruinning back to the bike is cool, but controling him isn't. Though with you not controling and him steering himself I see problems, such as, hayable in the way(unless he can jump), bike on the other side of track(unless he's a ghost), or the bike is actually stuck or elevated in something(unless he gets on regardless then we have to shake him out).

The following are my suggestions for the game:

1. The creation of a server for the allocation of skins, so that the user can upload the skin or download it automatically, in case they dont have it.
2. Check of the rear suspension when you are breaking, as it seems it doesnt have any weight in the rear (is fully extended, just like when you are jumping)
3. Modify the system so it can allow one to create a skin, models and tracks folder as it all would be more organized.
4. Have the possibility to save and load different suspension setups inside the game.
5. Have one more option called profile. Sometimes the game is not used by a single person, and has got differents names, numbers, key configs, views and so on

my sugestions
1. make the game have more roost from the bikes .
2 make the ground seem more softish , sandish im pretty sure that has to do with the tire pressure thing that ive heard about .
3. fix the bike so they dont get speed wobble when your on low stability when your breaking .
4. make the skins and tracks thing less confusing so stupid people like me can figure it out . like in game track editor
