Sound cool but you can also make a little bump in the track editor under the gate and that also works quite well.Mcguire103 wrote:i think by now there should be collision file for gate so when it drops you can actually feel riding over it. and also will make starts more challenging imo.
But altering the ground under the gate will make the gate move and probably sink into the groundTristan.Botteram wrote:Sound cool but you can also make a little bump in the track editor under the gate and that also works quite well.Mcguire103 wrote:i think by now there should be collision file for gate so when it drops you can actually feel riding over it. and also will make starts more challenging imo.
Put it an inch in front or after the gate and it'll be fineAaron Hall wrote:But altering the ground under the gate will make the gate move and probably sink into the groundTristan.Botteram wrote:Sound cool but you can also make a little bump in the track editor under the gate and that also works quite well.Mcguire103 wrote:i think by now there should be collision file for gate so when it drops you can actually feel riding over it. and also will make starts more challenging imo.

Instead of a bump where you'll likely get the object clipping through terrain, I would look into adding ruts behind (and even in front) of the gate and having the gate sitting on an elevated or flat platform. Think of the gate being on a tabletop with the area before and after the gate dropped or just where the ruts are going up and down over the "tabletop".Aaron Hall wrote:Next emf track thenWahlamt wrote:Put it an inch in front or after the gate and it'll be fineAaron Hall wrote: But altering the ground under the gate will make the gate move and probably sink into the ground

that would be cool too.Ddavis wrote:I'd rather have a sound file of the gate hitting the dirt before we get a "start bump".
