The setup idea sounds great

One thing i would really like to see in the game is ruts and braking bumps forming in the track as the race goes on. I know it will probably be very difficult to get working and could make the game even more difficult than it already is, but i think it would add another level of realism to the game.

another couple of ideas that would be kinda cool:
1. Different weather conditions eg. dusty dry days and raining miserable days where you get roosted heaps and have to use those tear offs.
2. When you stack you fall of the bike and have to run back over to it and pick it up
3. Basic bike damage eg. mud guards snap, sub frames bend... (more just a visual thing really)
4. As the race goes on riders and their bikes get dirty from the roost they suffer through and their stacks.
5. Prob been mentioned a thousand times now but the weird slow steering.
6. The bot riders see you and react to your approach when you pass them and having aggressive bots who cut you off and passive ones that let you through when they are going slower
7. Enduro racing on large maps with tight little goat tracks to follow through forests and nasty steep rocky hills to crawl up and have to ride across. This is sort of getting away from the main aspect of the game but would add another style of riding to the game.

Some of these ideas may have been posted before but i couldn't be bothered going through all the posts to find which ones are new.
These are just some ideas that i thought i would bounce around i don't expect to see them being developed straight away they are just what i thought would really add to this already great game.
please excuse the long list i just didnt want to make multiple posts everytime i got an idea.

Ruts and bumps - It doesn't really make ruts, but it sure does make stuff bumpy - http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... ?f=1&t=135

1) If we could add our own roost settings to our tracks, I would have made my Old Goldberry track dusty
2) and 3) That would require a fair bit of coding. Personally, I don't think it is needed (except for when everything else in the game is perfect)
4) Yeah, dirt build would be cool
5) You will (hopefully) get used to it
6) For most riders on here, AI aren't competitive enough anyway. But yes, that would be nice

What you said there can be done now. You can manually shift while auto shift is on.

Dude, I had the exact same problem.

Then I went out and tried to make a track set up to gears. (Perfect distances for specific gearing), and then I got used to it in about a day.

Now I can ride and shift without sound. :/

here are some of my suggestions:

1. Not sure if it is possible, but have aftermarket parts which you can chose to aid to the bike performance. Eg. a series of aftermarket pipes such as FMF, pro circuit etc could be available with certain pipes adding to top end, whereas other add to bottom end power. (not sure how the skinning of bikes would work) Different tyres to change traction on different surfaces

2. Be able to adjust jetting although realistic results would be hard to replicate

3. Chopping the throttle (ie running off the up ramp with no throttle) should result in a much lower trajectory through the air.

4. Instead of having complicated rider lean, just assign two buttons to "lean out" and "lean in". Lean out basically shows the rider in the "flat corner position" with him siting up straight on the bike and heavily weighting the out side peg. This will give much better traction through flat corners. Lean in is the opposite basically leaning with the bike through ruts and berms

5. Adjustable tyre pressure to change traction vs speed

Comment any ideas regarding the above

it would be cool to be able to have the number just on your jersey and not on your bike or just on your bike and not on your jersey that would be cool for us kTM users to just have the number on the jersey im sure it wouldn't be to hard to do

It's not that easy. :/

It'd be a pain in the ass to set up a numberplate just for one bike.

If it were implemented, JLV should put in a past model that had the regular plates. (2006)
