I feel that is key. And if you "do" decide you want to allow someone to know or get into your personal life, you have to be SURE that person is mature and you have there trust not to turn your back on you.Evo997 wrote:forum life and real life are kept as far apart as possible.

OK firstly, whether all that shit in chat is right or wrong: '/messagelines 0' - It's there for a reason. And I'm pretty sure you can mute a certain players/UIDs yourself, right?
I dunno why people get worked up about it in general, it's all light-hearted useless internet trash talk bullshit at the end of the day. But it was a bloody great chat last night, one of the best chat's we've had.

Re: Stopping Elitism Within the Community
I just want to have fun playing a video game that is intended to be fun, and have fun without having to worry about the politics involved. That shouldn't have to hinder me from being on a team, making stuff, etc. I'm too stressed out from work/school most of the time and I hop on this game to unwind, and I just can't do that. I just wish everyone could get along. After a race, "GG" should be encouraged, rather than "fuck you, you punted me" kind of thing.

Can we just stop all of this bullshit? This is an MX SIMULATOR not a BULLY SIMULATOR. Some of you just keep brining it up and won't let it go. Just drop it, and if it keeps on going take a break from the computer and enjoy your real life with your family or friends where you won't get trolled by kids sitting behind a computer desk.

Something should actually happen sometime... When someone harms himself because he's bullied here, then, people will start to think before they say something

Re: Stopping Elitism Within the Community
i'm not sure about you guys but i do know quite a few people that have no remorse for people who commit suicide and that sort of thing, i think if someone actually did something, everyone would feel bad but that wouldn't change anything, because the next day when they hop in 03 they will get punted and threaten the idiot who punted them and nothing will change. What Neal is posting about is exactly what i think of when i think of #Texaxskids (expression, not an actual hit at all people from texas...#loveyouJerry) but wayyyy to many people take things too far, try getting called a quad rider when you ride dirt bikes, kids are stupid on here (sad thing is that most of those idiots are my age) and the fact that they jump to your personal life is kind of disgusting to me, talk shit about my sim skills...you know...the usual reason why you get mad...not about my personal life. If i punt you and you go attacking my personal life that is stupid and makes no sense. That's like getting in a car accident and then yelling at the guy who hit you for having bad breath...has nothing to do with what just happened...yet it somehow gets thrown in there.
So next time when someone insults you
instead of this

You will realize its just this

Do you really think it's "that" serious? I have trouble visualizing someone "harming themselves" over this game and it's community?YzJarne_196 wrote:Something should actually happen sometime... Re: Stopping Elitism Within the Community
I'm not worried about anyone harming themselves, but there's a lot of kids here, like I said, who are young and impressionable. Some kids bring their sim life into their outside life (especially younger kids because they're always connected to media of some sort) and how can all of the negative influence from being picked on all the time help that?bc45 wrote:Do you really think it's "that" serious? There are a TON of kids here who are 15 and under. This game, being based off of a sport that has it's roots firmly planted in family. Yet many of it's members are acting like gang members, essentially. I'm sure someone from an outside standpoint would frown upon this. Especially some of you who are representing companies like Motosport Outlet. I'm sure thy wouldn't want their company represented in a negative light, ESPECIALLY in a video game.
