i know exactly what your talking about (as a fellow mgf member). there are certain things that need to be addressed and with all of the constant updates it is bound to be coming soon. when the rider is able to lean far over in turns and still remain stable at high speeds while retaining the ability to whip and scrub, then this game will have made a huge step in the right physics direction. (this being done without arcade physics) as for now though, you sacrifice one for the other, unfortunately.

Dont get me wrong guys im sorry if I seem offensive but when I comment I am usually straight to the point (Why sugar coat things?) I love this game thats why I am stressing this matter so hard I can see huge things for this game if it was only a little more user freindly hopefully jlv see's this issue and finds it important enough to address .....which I know he is very busy

I agree with motoboss, like he said over at mgf we should have 3 different level of physics, all fun but yet easy so you can get used to them very fast..
pro=hard
novice=medium
amatuer=easy
pro=hard
novice=medium
amatuer=easy

It's hard to get both (quick turning and stability). The same things that make the bike turn quickly also make it twitchy on the straights.
With the standard physics what stability setting do you use? Are you still falling with it at 80-100?

To be strait up honest....i think you are all crazy and the way it is right now is fine. The slow speed turning is kinda weird and if the rider put his leg out to weight the front wheel and to give you something to lean on kinda i believe that would fix everything

Sure but it would be nice if stability 80-100 were better for the more casual users. The question is, what specifically has to change to make it better.

I think being able to stay upright is the main concern and still be able to perform good whips and scubs

I was expecting you to say you don't fall at 100 but you overshoot corners.

motoboss, i appreciate the position youre currently in,
i remember back in the pre release days when i first started playing, first time i opened up mx simulator, i could not stay on the track, and fell over everytime i tapped the controls: and that was on 100 stability
but the game just looked so fun and i dunno i guess i saw some possibilities in the game engine and just kept playing, and slowly but surely i got more feelings for the controls and my stability settings started to go down, and yeah, now im at a point where i can control the bike quite comfortably and get around with quite a bit of pace, which you might have seen if you watched the national series demos.
Also, something that i think helped me was the non-existence of "arcade mode" when i first started, which forced me to use and learn the sim physics.
As for the changing of the physics, really, if we start to make it easier to turn and jump and control the bike, isnt it just going to turn into another MvA, with unrealistic physics and bike control? isnt that the reason that people stopped playing that game, and gave this one a go?
So pretty much, well at first the game is extremely frustrating, youve just got to stick with it, and thats pretty much all there is to it.

Ditto. When I first started playing I couldn't stay upright, and overshooting corners on 100 stability was annoying, so I wa using lower stab. thk I'm at 75 now, but I'm still reducing it. Personally, I've put in many hours, since the end of pre-4, and no I'm about 4 secs off the "fast guys" at nationals and currently 10 secs off dj at dallas. Just like real riding, this game takes forever to get fast at. The only major physics update that I think will improove the game immensely is the leaning forward and back (would like left-right if possible so that the outside of the bike could be weighted in slippery corners).

Guys this isnt about PRACTICE or hurting the original physics of the game its about bringing more people to the game Do you realize there were about 4 or 5 different physics made for MVA PC version? Its a funny thing being a human we can make choices and the thing is god made everyone different.
I get the feeling people are scared of something on this forum........... IDK of what , maybey change.
The great thing about MCM which lasted over 10 years and MVA that is still going to this day is........................ variety .
