I think the pitboard should only be shown when riding by the mechanics area

... and you can decide in menu what should be shown!

f.e. your last/best laptime, leaders last/best laptime, ....

Make a timing gate that makes the pit board show till the next timing gate. To show you what you set it as like you said! :P
