Toggle-able Hand Guards

Post by dbaum25moto »

I think it would be pretty sick if we could add a new .jm for handguards. With this there would be a new option in setup to toggle if the handguards appear or not. This could help file sizes, and be very conveinient for skinners and riders as they would not have to switch a whole bike, but rather only one setting

Really smart idea! I like to use them, but very few bikes seems to have them :(

Handguards are mounted in different positions for all bikes. The way a hand guard mounts on a KTM bar wouldn't work with a Suzuki or Honda. It would be off and wouldn't look good, so there would have to be a JM for every bike

I think me meant that each model has (the option to have) 2 fork uppers. fork_upper-model.jm and fork_upper_hg-model.jm.

exactly. And it would be its own .jm such as 250sxf_hanguard-skinname.jm. It wouldn't be a necessary JM such as the front plate or side plate JM's

actually could see this being a very reasonable and efficient thing, Don't quite understand how it could work but it would be pretty awesome to see!
