LITPro for Sim?
Thought it would be a cool idea, as long as its not $500.

Re: LITPro for Sim?
It wouldn't really do anything at all other than for the streamers out there seeing as you can just /togglespy and be able to spectate other players while in game.

Re: LITPro for Sim?
JLV, would it be possible to record analytics such as speed and maybe jump height? Maybe a way to toggle a speedometer on or off? I'd love to compare some sections from the game to real life sections that litpro has available data.

There's --print-orientation, but you'd have to derive the velocity from the positions. Would you want it to be a continuous log in the console or just on the screen like the fps?

Re: LITPro for Sim?
Probably just on the screen like FPS would do the trick. Otherwise there would be the issue of pinpointing where you were on the track, right? Would that be review able in playback though? Like if I pause at a certain point to see what the speed is?jlv wrote:There's --print-orientation, but you'd have to derive the velocity from the positions. Re: LITPro for Sim?
The speed would work in demos. Acceleration would be harder because the demos don't have that info. It could be derived but the new demo format makes it harder since it doesn't record every frame anymore.
So just add a "togglespeed" command and show miles/hour?

yeah that would be cool, honestly any feature of LitPro would be awesome to have back in playback! i think the one that shows where you rode on the track and your lines would be really cool.jlv wrote:The speed would work in demos. It's meant for debugging the AI riders, but --super-debug kind of does that.
