I would have to agree. I get that the whole punting issue would arise again but is that not why we have a ban court? And is that not why we have extremely strict rules against punting and dirty riding? (in rF atleast)

It makes the first turn incredibly difficult to navigate your way through without tipping over. I feel as though you either get the holeshot/get a lucky start or you end up in the dirt one way or another, there's no in between.

I really feel as though riding and racing (especially) in this game would improve dramatically if the dreaded Front End Lock was cut from Sim. Just an Amateur's opinion

front wheel lock makes sense in some situations but when you ride by a downed rider and you graze past their footpeg, literally not even hitting it, and just slam to the ground it's kinda frustrating

Racing in sim is terrible. It's not fun. You can't be aggressive. Every start there's at least 5 downed riders every time without fail.

Nothing like this ever happens because if you even get close to another rider you instantly die. Can we get rid of this already, it's actually terrible

+1, but maybe just reduce it so there is still a chance to fall

I do heavily agree with this statement. This is a poor situation for ALL pro gamers and hoochie's alike. PLEASE fix these such issues, homie.

i do believe it was better before, but some front end lock is good, especially for the guy ramming his front wheel into you, because at least it'll make it somewhat hard to do that, but the front end stabilization should only be slight, it shouldn't just toss you on the ground.

The video shows a pretty aggressive racing pass that worked, but there were some pretty bad takeouts you could do too. Although I wonder how it would be now that you can't send someone to the moon anymore. At 52 seconds I think I also tapped his back tire, situations like that I like it for because I just didn't anticipate braking that hard, and had no intention of taking him out.

While it did allow for much more aggressive takeouts, we participate in a competitive racing environment where if you do such a thing you will be subject to penalty if it is deemed too aggressive. It would be nice to be able to come into a corner and bump someone or tap their rear tire on the start and not just hit the deck. I think just taking away a small amount of stability or removing front end lock all together would be nice. Playing in 1st is hard as it is. I don't need someone suddenly appearing from out of my view and tapping my wheel and sending me for a dirt nap every race because I didn't have enough warning to hit my brakes. Not to mention when people are lagging it makes riding around them even more impossible.

Before they could just hit you in the footpeg and push you over the berm. The change wasn't to stop aggressive passes, it was to stop it from being backwards, where the rider who has a wheel on his opponent is at a disadvantage. Basically, the old way Savatgy might have survived Osbourne's take out, which isn't necessarily bad, but the consequence was Alessi's attempted punt on Tickle was really likely to work.

Anyway, the next snapshot will have quicker stabilizer recovery after front wheel contact.

Awesome, I know back in that time I was still an elsinore 00 player so none of this really was apparent to me. However for racing I can't wait to try out the next snapshot. Glad to hear you already got something in the works.
