Stability and advanced setup

Post by scheeve3 »

Hi JLV

When you change your stability, also your advanced setup changes (to something default).
Is that something that can be fixed? Or is there a reason why it's like this?

The stability number is simply a template for the advanced stability numbers, like default numbers. Once you touch the stab number, it resets the advanced stability setting to whatever the corresponding configuration is for that stability number.

So I can put my stability on 0 or 100, but change my advanced stability to my preferences and the stability won't make a difference??
A bit like the template settings in the graphics/sound setup where you can select high FPS, high details ... ?

I feel embarrassed I've been playing this game for 8 years and never really thought this through

Yes, just like the other ones, it's a preset for sliders.
