Slower Gate Drop

Yes, this is a very petty thing to inquire about, but hear me out.
Whenever I want to make video edits of races in MXS, I never show slow-mo shots of the start. Why? Because this game makes us all look horrible at reacting to the gate drop. It finally got to the point when I thought, "there's no way we are all that slow to react to the drop right?"
So I asked Chase Dunivant to send me a slow-motion clip of a real gate drop so I could compare. Slowing both real life video and MXS video to be 4 times slower than real time, I found the results I was looking for and that you can refer to by watching the short 1:43 video. Watch below:
So, in short. I would like to suggest that JLV slows the gate down by about 4 times the speed it currently drops. If I'm not mistaken, the gate becomes an invisible object immediately after the first movement, correct? So it won't necessarily hurt the people who time the gate to get holeshots. But it will at least make all of the normal players look like we know how to react on first movement.
You can even see in the video that from the time the gate first moves until the riders react in both MXS and real life is nearly identical... It just looks like we're 4 times slower to react because the gate drops 4 times faster. I want to hear other opinions though.
Please discuss.
