Copy/paste server address

Post by nickuzick »

Like the title says. It would be helpful if you could allow a user to copy paste a server address in the server bar.

If its a reporting/official server, just click on the link in the server page and it will save in-game for next time.

Otherwise, just copy the link and paste it in a server slot in your config file.

I've been meaning to add that for a long time. Would save a lot of trouble entering registration keys.

Something that goes along with this would be adding servers that are connected to through a web browser to the recent servers. It's really annoying joining a server through a web browser and not being able to reconnect through the game.

or just adding a historic of the server you connected? I mean like the track selection when you play solo! you choose one in the list!

If you have the server link menu highlighted you can access that history with the page up and page down keys :)

Or maybe instead of copy and pasting which is a good idea you should just list servers that have people in them that way you go to a server and your not just by your self. List the servers that have people or don't have people with the tracks but just on the menu in sim.

Being on a mac, I cant just click "connect to server" from the server page or "go" on the emf pages. I literally have to type out every server to join. +1 for me.
