First person cam

The view in first person isn't like a real helmet cam. I think the view should be from the center of the helmet, or the top. Because when it is on the chest and you play with the field of view settings and things like that, it still just ends up looking like your riding view is coming out of your neck.

play with the 1st person settings. Then see how hard it is to ride from a tall position

I believe it would be reaaally hard to play with a "helmet cam view" cause the rider leans out wit the bike, not independently, yet I think the reaction/view wouldn't be as accurate if riding from a tall position ( unexperienced rider talking... ).

i cant use the helmet cam while racing because he doesn't look in to the right direction(look out of the turn more!)

I feel pretty bad for the people who use 3rd person online and cant race clean. I always use first and can usually race pretty clean. It just seems like its a lot easier to see whats going on around you in 3rd person

how can you justify playing a simulator in 3rd person? I think it takes away so much of the simulator feeling.

Whips feel much better in 1st person than 3rd, since you can keep much better track of the angle and where you are at on the face of a jump.
and how the hell do you know where your front wheel is?

I also have my camera high and a bit more angled down, i can still see all of the track but i can also see my front wheel and handle bars clearly.
I don't think an actual helmet cam would be that bad, and maybe have it turn into the corners some so it might give a better view of the track.

I used third person when I first started playing, but then switched to first since it is a simulator. Now I can only use first, third doesn't feel realistic at all.

I'd love to race with 1st person but seriously, just like Diehl said I end up with a headache, guess I'm too fast... ( yeah I'm being sarcastic. ) haha.
