I know this is copying off of reddit, but being able to gild on this forum would be awesome, especially since JLV could make some money off of it.

What is that doing? I've seend the reddit gold coins or whatever it's called but never bothered to look it up.

There's silver, gold and platinum awards. Silver is basically just giving reddit money, gold gives you reddit premium for a week and platinum gives you premium for a month. https://www.reddit.com/coins/
It's basically a super upvote I'd say, like paying money to send a certain emoji

I personally think that a karma system would be better, because you could see if the user is a valuable member of the community or just a complete jackass. But that system is only used for bigger communitys as far as I know, where mods are needed and receive karma in exchange for shooting shit into the memory hole.

Oh okay. I just check registration date and post count... Also you can go to https://www.phpbb.com and look for extensions you like and leave them as a suggestion here.
