POINTS AND LEVELS -> ONLINE

For me this is a great idea. You can reach up levels when u finish races. Points should depend on how many ppl are online 2.

Um dont know... It will make more noobs trying to 'reach' level,trying to get points or something,more dirty riding.
We have levels now,well kinda. Look at sweden? Level -75 of respect. JLV +100

and after rage-quit,you will loose points,when you crash,you will loose 1 point,after you win,you get 25,second 20,third 18 etc etc....sounds like a good idea

uhmmm yea kind of how i thought, but i don't agree with the crash thing and also not with the points.

It should depend on how many guys are online imo because its not the same when u win a race with 15 ppl online or 2.

but some of you already know what im looking for xD

its good for the competition. maybe it would help that some noobs don't race like there are no others at the track.

This is PC, not xbox, i don't see the point in adding points and levels, in xbox its normal that you have that stuff

it's like this, 90% of the games out there have levels to give some kind of superficial sense of achievement.
in the other 10% of the games the levels are the actual goal of the game(mmo's etc)

gaining levels does not grant you any kind of respect.
the biggest douchebags are the people spending hours on end getting those levels.
so I wont give a level 100 a gram more respect than a level 1 player.

levels will also not increase the fun factor, it's a simulator, all the fun is in the progression of skill, therefore levels are obsolete. levels are only relevant when there is no (or little) skill involved to play a game. if there is only skill involved a lvl 1 would always be able to beat a lvl 50.

beacuase of the reasons stated above levels will also not create more competition, the competition commes from the racing. a lvl 1 has just as much a chance of winning as a lvl 100, so the competition commes from the skill of the rider.

In my opinion levels would bring no good to this game, and any simulator for that matter.
it would only create opportunities for douchebags to be bigger douchebags because they have a "high level".

and i think goons woudn't f u c k others that much. On start and and and... but its cool

So what makes you think a game with few resources and fewer monies would be able to make a leveling system with ranked servers and then match make the servers so only lvl1-25 could enter and so on. I agree that this game is all about skill and not about earning lvl points, thats why there are different series.i.e supercross and nationals.
