Text/Results Lag

Post by DJ99X »

Is there anything that can be done about this in the bigger races? It is a major pain in the a having to wait 5 minutes for your message to go through, or for the results to come up

Yeah,and why "new" tracks laggs so much? can you track makers do some tracks what doesnt lag? IT fucking sucks.Old tracks like St Jean and thunder valley,they dont lag.It would be alot btter if you dont try to make "cool looking tracks",but make good track which flows and doesnt have the best objects.becouse riding in lagg like in online races is insane.

No, that would be the servers fault for not being able to handle all the people. Now, step back and go take a break, your getting a little raged over nothing.

Thats why it lagged for so many guys,not just for me.its pretty funny that i can play with 50 players in CSS,and the graphics are way better.yeah i know this is simulator,but some times its lags just with 10 people in certain tracks,for everyone who is racing.

I dont think you understand what I am trying to say here.

Frame rate lag ----> your problem

Text/Results lag ----> Server problem

but why does it lags so much on mx simulator? CSS has much better graphics and its possible to play with 50 people with no lag.
So if there is nothing jlv can do about it,why cant track creators make tracks with less objects and stuff. :roll:

Nor did anyone ask you. DJ asked a question to JLV about the servers, not "Nybrok, what is your opinion on how the servers run?"

Go make a game that doesn't lag, and then make some tracks with less objects too.

This thread has FAIL written all over it... and to the one who called out DJ, without him there would 50% less content in this community, so you have no right to call him out.

Its graphics arent better. They just have much better textures everywhere.

That game would be far more optimised. The bikes and wheels in this game are quite complex. I think the HD wheels might need another LOD, that would probably help things alot.
