Crashes...

Post by checkerz »

Nothing more frustrating than tipping over in a corner and having to wait forever to get back up, yet it's necessary for the rider to stay down for a bit on harder crashes.

What if crashes measured the time spent from the time the rider comes off to the time the bike comes to a rest (quits flipping and settles on the ground). The longer that time, the longer it takes him to get up. This would definitely help high speed get offs be more costly than low speed tip overs.

Actually, there isn't a timer anymore. The rider starts getting up once he stops moving, so all I could do with a timer is make the big crashes take longer.

It would be easier to just make it harder for the rider to come off when he hits the ground.

the rider should also fall off the bike under extreme centripetal force. i've did 360's after swapping out at lightning speed and stayed on the bike.

kinda offtopic:

how much does the rider and the bike weight? when i crash the guy just kinda follows the bike, i think he needs more weight for better(cooler) crashes

I agree with your reasoning.

The last thing I need is more ways to crash in this game though :?

I just wish the rider would fully detach (after a predetermined force was exceeded)....Its kinda lame the way it is now.

You are saying that in a thread where people want the get up time to be shortened, not lengthened...
