?gas gyro?

Post by d1abl019 »

not sure if this has been suggested or not, but IMO when you hit the gas in mid-air it should rotate back a bit more/faster...
i see the guys in real sx do that (drop the front end really quick and hit the gas and stop it like instantly) so...
p.s. sorry for the title best thing i could think of. and yes i got it from MVA lolz

Do you brake tap with the front or rear brake? If you use the rear brake like they do in real life then it does stop immideatly. Front brake you will have to keep revving until you land.

To make the bike rotate backwards quicker, you need to make the rear wheel spin faster, as this change in momentum will be counter acted by the bike rotating in the opposite direction (conservation of momentum). Whenever I am nose diving in the game, I always shift it to the highest gear and hold it at max revs. If you nose dive whilst in 5th gear flat out, your pretty much stuffed. The best you can do is hit the brakes, and try to land a front flip.

It takes control. I've found out that it's pretty realistic. In real life I for some reason have a habit of hitting the rear break, letting my front dip, and blipping the throttle so the bike becomes more touchy in the air. Sort of a feel for the bike. I can do the same thing in MXS.

And a lot of the time when you panic rev in real life, it's not nearly as extreme as it would be in MXS's case. Think of it this way: Everything in real life that is sketchy is normal in MXS, and everything that is deadly in real life is sketchy in MXS.

except for the fact that once you tap the rear break the front end dives and you cant stop it, it continues to do a front flip...

I assume that you're using the front brake. Go grab the front brake all the way in on a real jump and tell me what it does. ;)
