Censorship in Online Servers

Post by KTM57 »

OK, this may sound like a 6-year-old's mom talking, but I am kind of tired of seeing people write stuff like "FUCKING SHIT I FUCKING CRASHED THAT BITCH".

Could we get some time of optional censorship on there?

I think it's not a bad idea, adding a filter should be not hard. I can mute (track marshall rights) if I see players insults becoming too aggressive. But young people use a lot of bad words, so it's not easy to put a limit (harder if i don't understand them ;). A filter may be a solution like MMorpgs allow players to filter or not the chat.

And serious people (pro racers?) may be lazy of being insulted by some goons on online server, it's not a good publicity for JLV game's.
