Chrashing Sound

First, i would like to say that this is the best game ever. And i have been playing for about a year, all the way in South Africa.

I dont know if this has been suggested before, and i have no clue if this would be easy or hard to do. As realistic as Jlv has made this game, and as cool as the new bike sounds are. I think it will add to the game, if we had some sound efects when crashing.

What do you guys think?

It's a good idea. It's just something I haven't gotten around to yet.

Yeah - I think the idea of ambient & environment etc sounds will def add to the feeling immersed in the sim / game.

Side note - I thought I was the only South African here.
Where you from pikes? I'm in cpt - where'd you hear about MXS?

isn't it possible to when you contact something(another rider, bales) it plays a a mp3 file or a avi file(you know what i mean) like when you land a jump it plays a 0.5 sec mp3 file to get a more realistic sound to it. go 1:45 sec in this vid and you will hear a sound when he lands the next jump, crappy quality sound i know but you know what i'm talking about.

Robbimag - I love that Barcia video (and it's been posted a few times, so I know I'm not the only one)
But that is exactly what I'm talking about - it's the other sounds that go with riding, the sound of the dirt under braking is huge for me. But this has been raised before - I'm JLV has this on his list.

What does a crash sound like though? they are all unique. I honestly dont remember most of my bad crashes in real life, I just remember laying in the dirt afterward and people staring at me moving their mouth but I cant hear what they are saying because of the high pitch ringing sound in my head.

Ha. I remember Mx superfly! I pwn at the game. It would be pretty cool to have other sounds in the game such as if you hit a wall it would go, BOOM. Or if you hit a metal pole or something else it would go PING. Just like in old Mx games like unleashed, where you would it something and it would make a unique sound. Maybe even 1 sound for everything.
