...to be able to handle 32 4096x4096 textures in a single .seq and not run out of texture memory! :twisted:

The textures aren't all stored on the graphics card. They are loaded from the RAM or the disk storage onto the graphics card when they are needed. The lag is caused by the time it takes to load the texture onto the card

It crashed at 3GB of Ram usage though (climbed at least 1 GB by the time it crashed). Would making the page file bigger help? Not sure how much it's used for this kind of stuff.
