Confused about ban

I have the demo and went to play multiplayer on the demo server and was told I was banned permanetly. Not sure why or if that is even possible. I would like to know a reason for this.

That server is for demo players only. Sorry it has to be that way but the server was 90 percent pirates before I started the full version ban script there.

I still don't understand why I was banned. I have the demo. Is it that I have downloaded a track to actually see if I can't get different tracks or downloaded gear and stuff like that?

The script bans by IP address. Once you're on there with the full version it won't let you back in even with the demo version.

But I do not have the full version I only have the demo.

I checked the log and Rgaede was on there with the full version and had the same IP addess as you.

Rgaede is my brother and we use the same wireless internet access at the house. Is there any way I can continue to play the demo online?

I've manually excluded your IP from the list. Make sure you don't use the full version on that server.

I just tried to get on the multiplayer and it still said that I was banned. Was the ip address that you excluded this one: 192.168.0.2?

That's your lan address. I excluded 174.28.167.116. Now you seem to be on 174.28.95.170. I've updated it.
