Starting problems

Post by GpxMoto »

Hey guys I'm getting the full version soon just one quick question

ok i had the demo i edited a track (--editor)

now when i go multiplayer and try to play it says track has been modified does not mach the server track or something
does any one know how to restore the track?

i have tried ccleaner
ive tried un installing
searching c drive with all files un hidden and delete mx simulator files
and also reseting my ip
but none have worked

i know you probably think it's pointless but i just wanna play with my mate until i get the full version cause im out of money at the moment
because of me buying Christmas presents for people

hope you can help

First enable hidden file display. Then delete "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\MX Simulator\x1b" (or rabbithill depending on which track you changed).

Hey jlv thanks for the reply.

I had ago at that went into folder options and it already had the option ticked "show hidden files and folders" because i previously used that feature for something else.

Then i used the path you showed me and i couldn't find any thing to do with mx simulator only google.
I have re installed the program many times and no fix.
Could the track still be the same because theirs a file on my computer i can't get access to?
Or does it get the data from my ip?

also i edited both tracks so does this mean anything?
And when i used the editor i was just testing it like i didn't save the track i just exited it then the next time i went on the tracks were flat with no jumps no berms no bumps just a flat surface the same texture and track layout but no features could it be some sort of glitch?

any way thanks for your help jlv most appreciated

Sorry, I gave you the path for the full game rather than the demo. Depending on your OS, the saved tracks go in the following paths:

Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\MX Simulator Demo\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\MX Simulator Demo\
Windows 2000 C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\MX Simulator Demo\

Where <username> is your username on the system.

Default User is the wrong one. If your username on your computer is "GpxMoto", it would be here:

C:\Documents and Settings\GpxMoto\Local Settings\Application Data\MX Simulator Demo\
