Getting a new graphics card

Post by Jr Dirt Doctor#489 »

OK so I'm planning on getting a new graphics card in a few days, my card right now is a ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics.
I'm going to buy this one.

My processor: AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual Core Processor 3250e 1.50 GHz.
Would this one be to fast for my PC?

First, do you have a laptop or a desktop?

Second, the ATI HD 3200 is an integrated graphics processor, not a graphics card.

Third, that deal you posted is a waste of money.

Forth, if you have a desktop, does your motherboard have a PCI Express x16 slot?

Fifth, what power supply does your computer have?

Sixth; You might wanna look into another cpu as well?
1.5 gig to me sounds.. well slow as shit..

Could you list the full specs? would you be willing to completely build a new pc?

It is really easy and there are guides all over the Internets.

No, my computer isnt old its fairly new. Like 2 years old. Just isnt close to a gaming computer. fast internet and stuff like that. But im gunna spend $800-$1000 to build one.

That will get you a long way, if you don't know much about computers, it's probably a better idea to have someone build it for you, there's plenty of computershops where you can select all the components you want, and they build the computer for you for like 25 bucks extra.
