server problem

hey I've been having a problem trying to join servers each time i try to join a server it keeps on sayin contacting server and i wait for at least 30mins and it keeps said contacting server then i disconnet and try it again and it still says contacting server... can someone help me???

Disable your firewalls. Specifically, allow outbound UDP.

Are you using a router to connect to the internet? If so, you may have to open UDP ports 19800-19900.
