help with skins, in gimp 2013 one defcon

hi, im new to skinning and was wondering if someone could tell me how to take the wireframe off in gimp after i have edited gear so it doesnt show them in game, for example i have just downloaded the 2013 one defcon psd and when i opened it in gimp to edit it had wireframes on and i dont know how to get it off, and also is it just the sabre gear in that psd as when i went to open up layers that was the only one ?
