Complete overkill for sim... An i7, 980Ti, DDR4 RAM.... You could build a good sim build for $800 that runs maxed 256x256 at 125FPS

That would run it fine but i wouldnt waste that much money on a gpu if your only going to play simon it a 750ti would be fine heres some EVGA 750ti
But if you do get a 980ti i would invest in some other games since youd be a able to run max settings on them and still run 100+fps

If money is not a problem, go for it. But this is a tier or two over what could be consideree useful for sim. If you're planning on playing games in 4k resolution or just want to build a robust pc that will last long, it's a supreme build I'd say. I like my 980ti, can throw almost anything at it and it just eats it.

A 750ti? I would only recommend that for a person barely playing video games or a 1st budget build. "For sim only" I'd say 960, thought my 660 was roughly on the limit. As I'd like tobsee it, save up for a 960 instead of going for a 750ti. Just my philosphy.

Nice budget, not needed for MXS purposes but in the case of just getting a good PC this will last a good 5-6 years at 1080p no doubt, probably even 1440p.

I just threw in a suggestion for cases but it is large so if that's not what you are into pick something from Fractal, Corsair, NZXT, or Phanteks. All great case brands that will not disappoint.

Do you have a need for a full ATX because if its just a single card for games it might be cool to get a ITX system.

This is my use of the budget, open to suggestions or modifications.
