Decals won't show

Post by zenny151 »

Hi, I've been working on a track for a couple days and I'm almost done, the only things I'm missing are the decals.
I put a decal from JGMX Hardman's Compound in a folder called decals and I went on the decal file and added
"[50.000000 50.000000] 0.000000 30.000000 1.000000 @151 Backyard Track/decals/SX_base.png

"
But now if I open MX sim and go to the track editor the decals don't show.
I tried everything while browsing the forum, changing locations of the file or correcting the the line in the decal file, but nothing works.
Any suggestions?

If it can help, this is where I downloaded the blank track from:

There are two locations where MXS can read the track from, the install folder which defaults to "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator", and the personal folder which is "%localappdata%\MX Simulator". (%localappdata% is an environment variable that expands to "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\".) When you save in the editor, it goes in the personal folder, so any changes you make outside the editor also have to be done there.

Ok, I tried moving all of the decal files in said folder but it didn't work.

Looks like you also have spaces in the folder name. That won't work because spaces are used to separate the fields in the decals file. Use underscores instead.
