Controller Not Registering In Game

I've had this game for a long time now since 2017. I've never had any previous issues with my controller not connecting. I always turn it on before loading into sim and has always worked. I Use the XBOX One Controller with the XBOX Windows USB Device Drive. ( Has always worked and been consistent ). Currently as of today when I load sim up my controller does not work whatsoever and wont let me resetup controls for the controller in sim either. I've tried having the controller wired to my PC and that as well does not work. I'm not sure what to do at this point. My controller works and registers for every other game I play on steam etc. If anyone has an answer the this issue i would appreciate it as I have my races this weekend. Thank You

This is a long shot, but did you recently play or install GTA 5 on your computer, and have you restarted it?

Possibly the dumbest thing I've experienced is an issue in which my controller would not work with MXS after I had used it to play GTA 5. Make sure you have fully restarted the computer after playing GTA and moving to MXS. That's probably it...

if you just played GTA V go to your windows search then type controllers click on (Set up USB game controllers move your stick and it should work.

Yeah everyone that I know has the same problem. Easy fix is to go to your control panel > devices and printers > right click your controller > game controller settings > properties > under the "test" tab just click some buttons on your controller. Thats what I always did and it worked.

I have not. I dont have GTA anymore and haven't for a while. I also have already went into the USB Game controller thing and everything works, Even re calibrated it. It works for every other game but wont do anything in MX sim. Cant even set new Controls in the Input settings on Sim. This has never happened to me before.
