All my other games work fine, just mxs is super weird, its 'laggy' so frustrating it makes me just wanna return the card and put my old one back in, but I'm sure there must be a solution.. Please help. :(

You could try a clean install of your drivers.

Yeah I've done that, was thinking of just reïnstalling windows altogether.. and hope that works, gotta find my USB drive first to back up some stuff. :)
Well thanks for the help anyways, it's much appreciated.

That's ok, I just built a brand new i7 4770k machine with a GTX 780 Ti and I'm getting some strange fps glitch every few seconds. Its like a 1ms lag spike... not much... but enough to screw you all up in a technical section. 120+ FPS is what I get... so I don't understand where its coming from. Seems to happen more when I'm connected to a server rather than in singleplayer. Any one have any idea what might cause it?

Try turning off your ground mipmaps.
