Track Trouble... and Bike Skin Trouble..... and Gear...

Post by hughes »

Alright so for the last few months i have been getting really aggravated with 2 things....
Bikes skins;
Tracks;
Gear;

Now the reason i have been getting aggravated with these 2 things is quite simply because pretty much every bike skin will not show up in the game like its the gray bike and whatever, and the reason im aggravated about it is because i have deleted all my models of the vikes and re downloaded them because they weren't working and even after i re downloaded all the models and templates it still wont work...

Now im having the same problem with gear, like for some reason the gear will no work....

And now on to the tracks, like i can download a track and extract the RaR or .Zip to my MXsimulator folder but it will not show up in the tracks list...

So if anyone knows how to fix any of these please tell me... thanks.

Which folder are you putting them into? Your MXS Folder or your Personal Folder?

Do all skins and gear related downloads go in the personal folder?

Pretty much all of them do. Models, skins, and bikes all go into the personal folder. Just make sure you extract them correctly. Btw, tracks go in there too.

You can't transfer extracted folders. Take all the .safs and .zip folders and put them in your personal folder. Then extract them. Make sure you extract them one by one, not all at once. I've had this problem before.

They can go in the Program Files folder, and you can just copy the folders across...

Honestly, still sounds like you are missing the proper models. However, without more information, such as screenshots of the bikes and folders it's hard to pinpoint the culprit.

Here's what I do I download my model open the winRAR file, I then also open my mx sim program files and then just slide them over. Simples same with everything else. You can also click on a file then click extract to C:/programfiles/mx sim

The correct path is: C:\Program Files\MX Simulator

When trying to help use the full correct path, as if you are telling someone how to do it who has absolutely no computer experience at all. :D
