MX Simulator

Sort of posted it in the wrong section but:
I just got a pair of turtle beach earforce z1's to use on xfire, but I am not sure how to get xfire to read it, and there are no directions that came with them to show how to install it.
If you could please help me out I would appreciate it thanks.

Tools-Options-Voice and select your headset for input and output.

Sorry should of went into detail, but when i go to that it does not read it in input, it is made for pc gaming, it has the pink microphone plug in and the green for headphones.
