hi im having a problem with fraps. the game runs fine untill i turn on fraps then it goes too 9-15 fps. idk whats happenning or why and ive looked for answers but could never find any please help and yes i know im a noob theres no need to point it out

If you're recording a video it takes more power than normal. There's not much you can do about it besides trying to lower your resolution, the rest of your graphics settings, or buy new computer parts.

i tried. but i dont think i should be having this issue. My moms laptop records it just fine but the desktop just wont do more that 10 fps. The laptop is like 2 years older than my desktop and everything about it is worse than this one. it doesnt make sense to me. im using an HP Pavilion m9400f pc. any recomendations?

The old laptop is better than the PC. Thats it.
